disable widgets on the mainscreen and select apps to the mainscreen instead

Hello everyone.
Is there a possibility to disable the widgets on the mainscreen and select apps to put on the mainscreen instead?
I and i think a lot with me would like that very much because that makes it easier to use when driving.

acvdmolen I use a task to turn on rear cam at ignition on, this starts auto recording. then another task to start launcher, that way i dont have to manually close rear cam and go to homescreen (its still recording rear though). front adas cam auto records at ignition on so no task needed...not sure if you mean front grill mounted cam though, if so maybe a task for that as well...
