Dudu7 car link issues

I have a Dudu7 and every time the car link connects to my phone via wifi I loose my wifi connection. I am remote and have no phone network most of the time so internet is wifi here. Why does car link not work over Bluetooth?
So once the car link connects to my phone via wifi the internet dropps out

Schnipp Carlink wireless always will create a WiFi hotspot (kind of WiFi direct with your phone). That's how it works. Your phone will have to have mobile data on to continue using Internet. Bluetooth is used only for pairing with carlink, stream then goes via WiFi connection. That's how it's designed.

Schnipp As @Mikescotland mentioned, you've activated the CanLink mobile screen mirroring feature, which creates a hotspot. The DUDU7's Wi-Fi and hotspot cannot be used simultaneously.

DUDU-Meng This means if DUDU7 is connected to a hotspot and Bluetooth, with iPhone, it can't use CarPlay? I'm also having issues where it gets stuck at "Verification Approved". What steps should I take to make it work?

Hotspot and Wi-Fi cannot be used simultaneously.
Regarding the CarPlay card verification issue, a new version of CarLink will be released next month, at which point it can be tested.

abidali if you want to use WiFi on DUDU with carlink (carplay) you need to do carlink via USB wire, not wireless.
Check:

settings > vehicle > Factory settings (password 108) > USB, if there is carlink choosen
same settings, iPhone USB tether (if you're using iPhone and if for some reasons wifi doesn't work properly, you can also tether iPhone Internet connection to Dudu).

Mikescotland Carplay worked when DUDU7 isn't connected to wifi. I think 4G SIM will work even with Carplay connected.
