Hi support team,
I need help with two problems on my head unit.
Problem A: 360 and backup camera shows black screen
The camera video is completely black with no picture. This happens when I put the car in reverse. It also happens when I press the 360-camera view button on the dashboard. In both cases, the screen switches to camera view correctly. The parking sensor indicators and the dynamic steering guidelines appear and work perfectly on the black screen. Only the video is missing.
The 360-camera system worked perfectly with the original Toyota factory head unit before this installation. Also, I have checked all wiring connectors carefully, and there are no bent or damaged pins.
Problem B: JBL amplifier volume sync issue (volume “chases” the command)
My car has the factory JBL amplifier. In the video, I am using the steering wheel controls for volume.
The pop-up volume indicator on the left side of the screen responds instantly and correctly to button presses.
The number at the bottom-center of the screen, labeled “The car volume,” shows the real volume from the JBL amplifier. This accurately indicates the sound and volume I actually hear.
The problem is that these two numbers are not synchronized. The real amplifier volume (“The car volume”) is very slow to respond. It tries to “chase” or catch up to the level shown on the left-side indicator.
For example, sometimes when I press “volume down” on my steering wheel, the real volume I hear might actually increase to try to reach the relative level indicated on the left-side indicator. This seems to happen because the amplifier is not synced and is still trying to “chase” the relatively higher volume setting.
I have attached a video recording demonstrating this volume issue.

Videos demonstrating the volume desync on Google Drive. In the video, I press volume up until I'm at the top of the volume range according to the left-hand indicator, then I press volume up and volume down back and forth until the main number "catches up". Then I go to the bottom and do the same, then back to center and do the same. Notice the discrepancies between the volume number on left and the actual volume accurately reported in the vehicle information in the center-middle under "The car volume":
