79Red @dudu-lai Hi, I am testing with a non-touchscreen monitor and plugging it into USB-C. It does come up, but it comes up as HDMI even though it's a USB-C connection, is that accurate? My USB-C touchscreen monitor still refuses to work.
Gwinambele I have ordered some USB c screen. I'm still waiting but I have a question. Propable it has usb c signal input but it also require another usb c for power. Can I use that USB c switch you showed and use one USB c for power and another one for signal data? https://share.temu.com/3hcas2ksf2B I ordered this screen.
Gwinambele Ok it comes it just need one USB c but when I co net it to USB c in Dudu display screen is black and nothing happens. I also can't see anything in Dudu settings. I guess it would need some drivers or something and I guess it just won't work with Dudu unit.
DUDU-Meng Gwinambele I checked the link you provided, but it doesn't seem to specify the video input protocol. You can try using PC screen mirroring to see how it works.
Gwinambele On pc it's working fine. But I had to install some drivers to make it work. So how to find one that will work with Dudu? I need something around 5"
DUDU-Meng Gwinambele If installing drivers is required for support, then this is not a standard protocol. Standard protocols do not require additional drivers.
DUDU-Meng Gwinambele Your screen just needs to support the dp alt mode. As for a deeper explanation, it all uses standard protocols. You can search for related results yourself to learn more—I don't fully understand it either.
Gwinambele Ok so I bought another screen and it's workong. But. It's working only with cable they provided. I bought 3m long cable and it says no signal. But funny thing is that touch is working. But there is no signal. What kind of cable I have to look for.
DUDU-Meng Gwinambele Perhaps your extension cable isn't meeting the required transmission speed. When running cables, make sure to check their specifications to ensure they support video output.
