I also have been experiencing this issue. Before the update the microphone quality during calls wasn't very good, but it was decent when I wasn't driving at high speeds. After the update, whoever I'm on the phone with can't hear me, even with the microphone gain turned all the way up.
I've had to consider replacing the external microphone or unplugging the external microphone and trying the internal one.
To my understanding, plugging in the external mic disables the internal mic. Why not make them both work together to improve call quality? With the external microphone that was provided with the head unit, the sound quality is great even when the external microphone is working.
I'm not sure which OS version my Dudu7 shipped with but the update I'm experiencing the issue with, is the most recent OTA Dudu7 update.
