after the last couple updates, I no longer have retained accessory power. I remember at one time, there was a menu option to control how long the radio will have power before shutting off, after opening the doors. I no longer can find that menu option? I liked to have the radio play for 5or 10 seconds after opening the doors. Thanks,

tsbrewers see post above. However, bear in mind it's after power off (ACC off). Not after door opening.

You can see the ACC delay at the bottom. Just set the duration you want.

Mikescotland On my vehicle it never shuts off after acc off. I can turn the key off and take it out of the ignition, and the radio will play forever. I need to open a door, then the radio shuts off after the set time. It used to be 11? minutes after ACC off with the factory radio, but with this one, it never shuts off. My window's RAP also doesn't work anymore either with this radio.

tsbrewers that means that you have constant 12V on red ACC wire to dudu

Wiring is fine, chevy uses RAP and runs it through their stock radios. It is the included canbus controller that is the problem now that I don't have a factory radio.

If I recall correctly, there really wasn't any wiring that was done, everything was plug and play. To be honest, I think it is a canbus issue, likely a firmware/software issue. Everything works as it should, except that the radio keeps playing until a door is opened, and my power windows no longer roll down after turning off the ignition. Both of these are controlled by the canbus/factory radio is a GM vehicle. Normally in a GM vehicle, both the radio and the windows continue to work for a set period of time after the ignition is turned off (RAP), something like 12 minutes or a until door is opened, which ever is sooner.

You mean the radio stays on after the engine shuts off, but power cuts off when the door opens, correct?
If that's the case, it's perfectly normal. Many models like Volkswagen and Buick operate this way. And the OEM original screen functions the same.

DUDU-Meng that is what I have been saying. From the factory, the radio shuts off after about 12 minutes or so automatically, even without opening the door, where now my radio stays on until I open a door. Also, I am supposed to have power to the windows too for the same amount of time, 12 minutes or so, but now with this radio I do not have RAP to the windows. As soon as I turn off the key, my windows stop working. That is different from the way the truck was designed. It's not a big deal, but it is annoying.

A potential problem would be if I remote started the truck because it was super cold, but never actually used the truck, and opened the door, the radio would keep playing indefinitely, or at least until the battery completely died.

The CANBUS box receives the start/shutdown signal via the CAN/LIN bus, which then outputs ACC power. Many cars (Volkswagen, Jeep) only send a shutdown signal via the CAN/LIN bus when the door is opened after the engine is turned off.
