UPDATE: I want to share my experience in case it helps others who are struggling with CANBUS issues.
Originally, I installed my DUDU7 with the Simplesoft CANBUS decoder (HY-SS-04) that Mekede sold me. The head unit worked, but almost nothing integrated properly: wrong A/C data, no illumination, no reverse detect, SWC didn’t work, etc. Honestly, I was ready to throw the DUDU7 away or give it to someone else because it just didn’t function with my car.
After digging on my own, I replaced the Simplesoft decoder with:
• Raise G-RZ-HYK73 → for CANBUS communication
• Raise G-RZ-HYK64 → for the AMP SPDIF output
• plus the correct new harness
With this setup, the system now works almost perfectly.
👉 The takeaway: no matter how much Mekede updates their software, it means nothing if they don’t provide the right hardware support. In my case, they shipped me the wrong decoder and harness, and when I asked for help, I got none (see above posts). I ended up solving it myself.
