If i understand the settings correctly then:
Speaker power level=amp gain. So it works only if the speakers are connected directly to dudu internal amplifier. And then spdid has nothing to do with speakers so it will be logical to turn passthru off.

Spdid passtrough is only needed to be turned on if you use spdid signal from dudu to external dsp and you do not want to use internal dsp. And then the speakers are connected also to external amp.

So i think if you turn spdif off, and can then manipulate power level, it should be okay.

I see no reference to the CarPlay/carlink-PIP issue introduced in 3.6 release. Was this issue addressed in this 3.6E build? If I missed it that is great news. If not, is there a timeline for fixing this issue?

I’m using DUDU 3.6Е on a Mekede M600 unit. I actually joined the beta testing program about a year ago, so I’ve been following the updates closely since then.

The DUDUOS reverse gear shift screen does not show any delay. If there is a delay in your car, it may be due to your camera not being powered on regularly and starting the camera slowly.

DUDU-HUANG Plus/Minus button on top and bottom, and current settings hz should be displayed on each HPF and LPF sliders. Also translation of Focus and surround should be time alignment and fader as in all other units.

One more request, why I always have to go to settings > Sound to adjust settings, can't I make a shortcut on menu so that it quickly takes to Sound settings page?

Hi, I have a question. I had no success with WiiYii C3 HUD, because of lack of permissions. But Carrobot C2 lite HUD is not only supported but rather recommended, and have the separate app. Will it work with maps other than amap (like waze, organic maps or google maps)? It available only at Taobao and I want to know before buy.
I read a manual, looks like it uses screencast (wired or usb-tethered). Will my dudu6 allow it? Or I need something else?

phanex Regarding peripheral compatibility with DUDUOS:

Officially recommended peripherals are listed in the device connection settings. These devices have been rigorously verified for seamless integration.
Most existing HUD devices only natively support AMAP.
Carrobot C2 Lite supports screen mirroring mode.
Peripherals not listed may not be compatible or not yet adapted.

YAOXILONG Stupid Question: Why are the DUDUAUTO Shops on Aliexpress not selling these devices? I think most customers would even pay some dollar more than in the ceapest shop if they can be sure it works with the DUDU headunit.

dudu1897 because they exist only as a prototypes yet. Bit sneaky adding them, isn't it... Or, like xiaomi HUD, they have were discontinued 4 years ago, with no units to buy almost even back then, long before Dudu was born...

One question:

I downloaded the update file and copied the archive to my USB stick. Now it says that if I want to perform a factory reset, I should copy the Factory Reset folder to the USB stick.

So should I just copy the files from the Factory Reset folder to the root of the USB stick, or should I copy the entire folder to the USB stick?

Which image is correct? Image 1 or 2?

Thanks. Then the instructions should be revised. Or the translation isn't entirely accurate. It only mentions that you should create the factory reset folder on the USB stick. It should perhaps be mentioned that only the files in the folder should be included in the root directory.
