Requesting a list of Steering Wheel Controls!!

Hello DUDU7 Bros!

I am requesting someone to PLEASE send a photo, even a list, of all the available commands for the Steeing Weel Controls.
This is for a non-Canbus vehicle that has normal resistive Steering wheel buttons.

I want to know if there are options to bring up the Front 360 Cam, Rear 360 Cam, Screen Off (just the screen, not shirt down or sleep), and if there is a Dim + and Dim - buttons.

Also I would love to know if Long Press / Short Press can be applied to Volume + and -.
For Example
Short Press - Volume Down
Long Press - Mute

Hammer2222 Unfortunately, I can't help you. But I'm also interested in the long and short presses if that's possible.

Yes to every thing you want. Camera & black out screen both are there.
I'll have a video out tomorrow showing this but the good news is that the options are there for it 😎😎😎😎

Volume + or - function, whether long or short press, is the volume function
Other functions (such as phone/mute) can be set to long press/short press

And is it also possible to press double, etc.?

I am creating a custom steering wheel, with 3d printed button boxes. I have to figure out how many buttons to implement for the DUDU7, and this will help me so much. (Other buttons are for cruise control and a custom push button turn signal system, like seen in Lamborghini etc)

How to set long press? I had junsun unit and there were those options - except volume buttons.

I am glad the options are available! I couldn't tell, from an icon I saw on another post, if the icon was for screen blackout, or sleep mode!
And then when designing my steering wheel cutton project I started thinking, man if we could do long press/ short press with the volume assigned commands, I could make volume - also do mute via long press, and save an extra button for something else!
But looks like a NO on that front :/

I hope you are able to unplug your canbus box and get the custom SWC commands like you were saying in your video, im keeping my fingers crossed for it to work for you bro!!

Blackbandt If your unit is connected through a Canbus Box you won't be able to do this. The option of customisation is available only for the cars without CAN Bus.

MihaiFlorin I have connected a canbus box but my T5 does not have a multifunction steering wheel. I bought such a round button on AliExpress and connected the box supplied to key1. I can therefore choose the keys freely. I've already tried it and it works.

But it would be cool if I could give a key 2 function.

Hammer, I hope it's ok with you but I screenshot your comment and put it in my video.

You will understand once you try it yourself.
After setting up the short press, you can add functions directly with a long press.

DUDU-Meng I tried it too. But it's actually a little confusing and you don't know exactly how it works. So it would be nice if you could tell us how to do it

Set a short press, and there will be a prompt here. Tap it to select the long press function.

Sorry, I have never seen this remote control, so I don't know how it works. You'll have to test it yourself.
But I guess this kind of remote control would have its own app.

DUDU-Meng the remote works very well. However i never tried a long press. Everything comes up with a number and also undefined like shown in your picture with arrow.

App??? There is no app atleast to my knowledge for this remote. Programming the the buttons for tap function gave no issue. It works pretty well. Occasionally it goes a little crazy and i have to relearn the buttons but its way more user friendly then the dudu remote.

for those of us on dudu7 with canbus module installed BUT we do want custom define steering wheel controls instead of using the default not assignable predefined steering wheel controls is there a way to keep the canbus module installed but bypass the canbus module only for the steering wheel controls so that we can define what we want the steering wheel buttons to do? Can this be done by connecting key1 key 2 wire to swc 1 swc 2 wires?
