Carlink starting on power on unnecessarily

For one day, carlink now starts automatically when power on with screen "waiting for connection" even if in the options is set to NOT to do it.
Anyone any advice?

Mikescotland It will not start up normally on its own. Please check if there are any automatic tasks that open it, or if it is set to start up automatically when the computer boots up.

DUDU-Meng task list is completely empty.
I noticed it carplay pops in when the Dudu is left off for longer while and stays on the screen until I press home button.
If the Dudu is off for a minute or two, carplay doesn't show up.
Carplay settings autostart is also off.

Mikescotland That means carlink was running in the background before you closed the door. You can end its task, and then it won't automatically open again

And "before I closed the door". What does the door have to do with carplay?

Mikescotland What I mean is that you need to end the carlink process before turning off the power, so that it won't pop up directly when you turn on the computer later.

Mike… is your radio set to sleep or reboot when turning cars ignition off?

If you have sleep on… and you turned the car off while car link was running… it may comeback on when you turn ignition on. You simply put the radio to sleep so anything running should come back. Sorta like your phone when you hit the sleep button before you put it in your pocket. If you force close the car link app and then turn ignition off and the rafio goes to sleep it should not be there when you power the igntion on… if you have no settings/commands telling it to come on.

If you have the unit set to reboot instead of sleep then you ahould not get any car link come up after ignition turn on inless you have some sorta setting/command telling it to do so.

Skillzo1 I do get it but I don't want to reboot the HU every time I do short journeys.

Try holding down carlink2.0 in the application list and clicking “Uninstall” to clear its data.
I have never encountered this phenomenon before, but judging from the status, it seems to be caused by some setting.

DUDU-Meng I'll do it in the morning and report. My settings:

I turned off wireless android auto on the phone just in case (didn't change the behaviour sadly)
Dudu - automatic AP is off
phone doesn't start the WiFi hotspot until the Bluetooth is connected
carlink has auto connection off
I notice carlink appears on the screen, wifi turns off in Dudu and AP starts to connect to android auto
however, even if I leave this on, connection is never made (even when I have android auto wireless to "allow")
ending carlink task and restarting Dudu doesn't help.

DUDU-Meng yes. It is turned off. Clearing data and cache didn't work.
If I uninstall carlink, how can I reinstall it back (I would like to have the possibility of having android auto available because I use it from time to time)

Uninstall app (which actually doesn't uninstall the app) did not help. Carlink starts immediately after a longer engine off starting AP and disconnecting WiFi.

What is the pattern for Carlink to start automatically? Does it start automatically when the device is turned on, or does it start only after connecting to Bluetooth?

DUDU-Meng problem resolved. And to be honest, I wasn't expecting this was the problem.
Canbus decoder is connected to Dudu7 but not powered all the time (powers when the HU powers).
Now, very strange behaviour - when Dudu7 starts and receives a moment later 3,3V from uart input connector from canbox, starts immediately carlink.
I have temporarily resolved it with powering on dudu7 4 seconds after ignition (relay module).
Maybe it'd be worth to check if something is in software for canbox that activates carlink?
