Peugeot 308 t9 limited canbus options

I installed a Dudu7 8+128 10.36 inch and I have a 2014 Peugeot 308 and use the Simple Soft RP5-PA-001, which is designed for my car.

But I find the canbus integration very limited.
I cannot use the build in A/C app, only the generic floating button.

Also the vehicle information interface does not work. I can only use the old interface like on any FYT unit.

I can’t only choose this protocol to get it working: XP(Simple)>Peugeot/Citroen>408>XP

So what is the solution? Can’t I use the software as intended? Do I need another Canbus box?
Because right now, the unit doesn’t make that much of a difference from the Junsun 7870 I just upgraded from. I expected a bit more to be fair…

Is there a canbus box that does have this support? Like Hiworld, Raise?

Chrisdudu I'm just guessing here but I think the reason for the lack of development focus on simplesoft (which I use too) is relative to its market share. With Raise and Hiworld commanding roughly 75% of the canbus space, it doesn't make much sense to fold in another layer of challenges for such a small market share. Better to iron out the full functionality, kinks and 'bugs' of the two main canbus manufacturers that make up the majority of the space. 🙂

I think I’ll switch to raise for this reason. It’s not that expensive to give it a try. More a pain to dismantle the whole lot just for the box.

Chrisdudu Be careful which one you buy. This (in the bottom of the thread) https://forum.dudu-auto.com/d/1569-ac-status-out-of-sync-peugeot-3008/9 is working, an other one (also Raise) named RZ?PSA15, SW:V0128, HW:VW-NC3-040D, 24.11.09 is not working for AC.

TLDR: Raise is not Raise, different hardware versions might work or not.
