TomTom GO doesnt load most of the time

I tested it here, and if there is no network connection when starting up for the first time, Tomtom Go cannot enter the main interface normally. Tomtom Go requires a network connection to start up for the first time. You can test the startup plug-in, which is not navigation, and then switch to navigation PIP after the network connection is successful to see if it works normally.

DUDU-Meng what could be a work around to let it work? I have the same problem, I use the hotspot function on my mobile wich takes about 10 seconds to have a wifi connection with dudu 7. As navigation app I have set tomtom Go app in dual pip, wich will start directly as dudu is alive. Is there a possibility to delay the start of the set navigation app? I have tested a lot with tasks but as there is set a default navigation app it always start directly.

acvdmolen The only thing that I can think about is to reboot your launcher after you have successfully connected to wi-fi. Maybe you can make a task on that. I really don't know as I am in holiday and I don't have acces to my unit.

Try to do a task to open any app you can try with Tom Tom, and another one to "return to Dudu Launcher"

Maybe you can use a delayed task to start TomTomGo (again) on boot or coming out of sleep.

Yes I use it pip. So I did make a delayed task to start TTgo again after wifi is enabled but there there is no reaction I think because TTgo is already active.

acvdmolen try to add the "reboot launcher" to the app list if you don't have it already. Try to press that button after the wi-fi is connected. If this works try to make two tasks

Open TTgo
Return to Dudu Launcher.
I really don't know if the second task reboots the launcher or anything like that as I am in holiday and I don't have any acces to the unit right now. But it is worth a try.

I have reboot Hu but not reboot launcher.

acvdmolen Long press on the app list and choose edit. You'll find it. It is yellow not blue like reboot unit. I will try to make a video for you. But only Sunday I will be back in DK and have access to the car.

acvdmolen I have found it, and now I know what you mean. It must be enabled in the app-list. I now have it put in a task because I seams to be an option to solve the TTgo problem.

I have set it to wait for wifi connection enabled and then start reboot launcher, but for that app you have to acknowledge "how can I do that I a task"?

acvdmolen Make a feature request to the devs. I really don't know how to make it a task. If I understand well are you saying that after "reboot launcher" everything is ok? I might have a solution for you, not with a task. Let me get back to Denmark.

MihaiFlorin it looks like after a reboot launcher when I am already connected to wifi TTgo will start okay.

DUDU-Meng that's correct most of the time TTgo (in my case pip) will not start when dudu 7 comes out of sleep mode.

If you place it in PIP startup, it will run immediately upon startup—before you've even connected to the internet. Just make sure to connect to the internet first, then run it, and it should work fine.
