TPMS External to Internal sensor

Hello,

I had the external sensors working correctly, and have now switched to internal sensors with the installation of new tires.

How do I go about getting the Dudu7 to recognize the new internal sensors.

These are both DuduAuto sensors/boxes. I assume both usb boxes are the same and don’t need to be swapped out in order to learn the new sensors.

Currently set to “Dudu TPMS II”, and states it is connected. When I switch to “Dudu TPMS” it shows it as not connected in the Device settings

Are both tire pressures supported by DUDU products?

DUDU-Meng Yes, They are both DuduAuto branded kits.

I also assume that the sensors activate/turn on once filled with air, or is there a specific procedure to activate them?

Are the tire pressures you used before and the new ones you replaced in the back all DUDU branded products?
What does the new tire pressure hardware look like?

Yes, they are BOTH DuduAuto Kits.

Are you saying that you only changed the sensor in the tire and the accompanying USB receiver was not changed?

DUDU-Meng Yes, the first (External kit) receiver (Black USB Box) was left, they appeared the same at first glance. I will swap it out this weekend.

How could it be the same? Each box is matched to a good 4 sensors.
If it's like you say it is, then it's not like there are several cars together and you have tire pressure sensors in your car that link to other cars?
If that's the case, and you're driving down the road, how do you know if the tire pressure you're seeing is from your own car, or from another car nearby?

DUDU-Meng From what I was lead to believe I thought it possible to learn a new set of sensors

I was also told that the internal sensors could be bought separately from the “kit” once the current batteries die out?

In any case, I swapped the box and all seems well.

I think you CAN learn reciver a new set of sensors.
But since you got original and it takes like few sec to swap it, it's better to use oryginal one.

Actually, I have that particular usb port stupidly mounted inside the dash, along with a hub and the dvr. So it’s not as easy for me to swap out. Easy enough, but it’s not a simple few seconds

Plus I figured it would be good to know the “learning” procedure for future.
