MrWong format the USB drive with exfat or fat32 format. Extract the files from the downloaded firmware update file and insert that USB to the device. You will see a message on the screen saying the update will start in 5 seconds.

When it says on screen that remove the USB drive and let it reboot.

so i extracted the compressed file.... do i just copy this folder and put it into the thumb drive?

Benruba2025 dentro de las opciones de CarLink 2.0 desactiva que se conecta automaticamente (por alguna razon da fallos) reinicia tu unidad y la proxima vez que quieras conectar con CarPlay/AndroidAuto este debera conectarse a la primera, si esto no funciona o si esta desactivada la opción de conectarse automáticamente, habrá que indagar más en el problema.

Si necesitas que se conecte de manera automática puedes aun así desactivar la opción de conectarse inalámbricamente en carLink 2.0 pero dentro de DUDU crear una tarea que cada vez que se inicia el vehículo este abra CarLink 2.0 automáticamente

Just got in car, dudu7 message popped up about update. Went to check and it asked to update to 250519. Which is great BUT...

I'm sat in the car waiting and it's got stuck at 75%. Been that way for about 10 minutes now. Reluctant to switch car off in the middle of an update.

What to do? Please help ASAP...

EDIT: Nevermind, clicking on the 75% icon asked to carry on downloading update. All good now!

reg66 For me it stopped at 50% and after clicking it also went further. After updating the audio has gained a lot in quality.

Im still cant normally use carplay, its run in different resolution. This problem began from BETA 3. Sometime it runs normally in my resolution that i had in DUDU OS 3.5.

The reason i download a BETA and now a release version is (i dont know correct name of this function) SPDIF thru. A function that can run music avoid integrated amp. Since BETA 3, i cant find this function anymore.

Help me with this problem pls.

Mativo normally no, you need an extra file to wipe out everything. I did the upgrade today and after i plug in the usb, opened the ota app and clicked on the local update and after the update i have everything.

Benruba2025 Claro en el apartado de mas ajustes, al final hay una seccion que dice accesos directos, tareas, etc.
La funcion que buscas es Tareas, la cual con un activador (encendido de vehiculo, deteccion de velocidad, RPM, abertura de puerta,etc) se desencadene una accion como puede ser abrir una app, iniciar musica, etc.

Es en el ultimo apartado de ajustes, deslizas hasta el fondo.

Is it possible to change bluetooth name "DUDUAUTO" by custom bluetooth name ?
For Radio app: is it possible to clean image from radio station ?

Feature request:

For new A/C Control Panel (in Pop-up mode), resize vent control for a bigger one.
For new A/C Control Panel (in Full Screen), add a auto-close timer (like pop-up mode).
Ability to modify hard coded canbus steering wheel control.
Example: for my Peugeot 308 T9 (2014), i want to set the "Turn off screen" button to "Show A/C Control Panel"

For pop-up delay, is it possible to start timer delay after the last press ?
Actually, delay start when i open the pop-up, and whatever i do, it close automatically after 5 seconds (if the timer is set to 5 seconds).

Mativo Yup, thats correct. Once you plug in the USB into headunit, you'll see a prompt on the screen to update. Once update is complete, remove usb device to reboot. Yes, you'll keep all your previously settings. If you wanted to wipe settings clean you'd pull the files from the factory reset folder and add to your root E: - otherwise it can stay as is.

With the 3.6 update I can no longer add CarLink as a PIP app. Does anyone know how to add it. I liked having my CarPlay in the pip window. Thanks

Open a discussion here and explain the bug perfectly including images if needed. In this current thread probably is not the place to make things moving...

In the device connection Tab the cam ist shown as not connected.

Cabrioman I fouind out: You need to start the file manager and install an apk from an USB device. After starting it it will update the app.

#p10503 Add support for additional third-party peripherals - vGate vLinker MC+

Situation:

vGate vLinker MC+ supports two pairing modes, classic Android and BLE (named iOS)
Prior to this addition to DuduOS, I've been using vGate vLinker MC+ paired manually using Android BT Settings (#2nd BT chip) and it paired fine using classic Android mode. I use it with 3rd party apps such as Carscanner and VAG-DPF and get decent functionality including DPF status and clutch temperatures
I've read that I can use the new integration in parallel - and indeed I can now pair it under Settings/Devices very comfortably. It pairs to the BLE/iOS mode and I don't need a PIN even. It also shows "connected" and I can read certain vehicle data for my VW but nothing deeper like clutch temperature and DPF - so need to keep the 3rd party apps.
These 3rd party apps don't seem to find the adapter in BLE/iOS mode, only if I pair it to classic BT / 2nd BT chip
Consequently, I've paired the adapter using both modes and it now shows in both lists (in Setting/Devices as BLE/iOS and in Settings/Android/Bluetooth as classic mode. 3rd party apps find the classic one and work, but then DuduOS shows "not connected" for the BLE/iOS listed one. If I stop using the classic mode (paired but no 3rd party app connected) the BLE/iOS one connects and provides DuduOS readings. So the two lists seem mutually exclusive or the adapter can only serve one connection at a time.

Question: I've read somewhere that a shared use by DuduOS and 3rd party apps is possible - how do I configure things to achieve that?

If its mutually exclusive then I'd probably stick to the classic mode because the 3rd party apps can do so much more and because on my VW I get basic info such as outside temp / coolant temp / tank volume / seat belt / handbrake etc via the Raise Canbox anyway.
