benzol 2Pac There is a cable that needs to be connected to the canbus, if it is not connected, no image is displayed on the original display. I think it was a 4-pin
benzol Maugusto50 There are 2 switches on the canbus on one side, they must be ON to switch to V60, this is also written on the canbus itself (not that it makes any difference if they are not switched)
2Pac Thanks for your help, both of the switches are 'ON', the 6-pin connector with 3 wires is also connected (LVDS splitter to canbus box) still no image.
benzol 2Pac And did you connect the 2-pin (two white cables) connector from the canbus to the C socket on the media (it actually has more pins)?
2Pac The 'big' connector with only two wires (canbus video out) yes. To be honest I don't really think I missed something in the cabling, I don't understand why the original display doesn't work when using the provided LVDS cable even when no added devices are connected.
benzol I will be able to provide you with pictures by the end of the month, because I will be disassembling mine again to connect 360 cameras. This socket must be connected to a C connector
benzol My rear view camera (the original one) and SIM card (there is coverage but it cannot connect to the internet) don't work,as there is no information about the car (just a black screen) I think it is quite crippled by the Volvo brand until 2018

dudu-lai 2Pac I think your connection is wrong. The blue plug should be connected behind the OEM screen, not behind the OEM host.
benzol dudu-lai You are wrong here, mine is connected the same way as in the video and I have no problems. I am starting to think that the canbus is defective or the cable to it
dudu-lai 2Pac I sent your question and video to an OD engineer. He determined the issue was with the LVDS cable.
2Pac I have 3 different canbus box and 3 different LVDS cables, non of them works. Maybe my car / head unit setup is different and requires a different cable ? It’s a 2015 V60 Polestar with the HK audio.
2Pac Yes, it is connected to the reversing camera in, to hopefully also have reversing image without having to open the aux app. But since there is no image from the original display / canbus box it's not working either.
