  • 360 backup camera not triggering

Hello,

I have installed the 360 cameras on my dudu7 12g/512gb system, but it is not triggering the backup camera when I put in reverse.

The trigger wire from the 360 backup camera was wired to a 12v+ at the backup light and I have checked connection with a multimeter that I am getting 12v to the trigger wire when in reverse.
At the head unit, the trigger wire is not connected to G5 since I have a Simplesoft RP5-CH-004 canbus for my 2015 jeep wrangler.

I believe the wiring should be correct this way as I have searched for answers on this forum.
Could this be a canbus settings issue? or could it be that the canbus doesn't support reverse detection?
By the way, my 2015 Jeep Wrangler is a MANUAL 6 Speed Transmission, so not sure if it matters for canbus reverse detection if it is a manual or automatic transmission?

How can I get the 360 backup camera to trigger when I put on reverse?
Should I try to wire the trigger wire at the head unit to the G5 connection even though I have a simplesoft canbus to see if it works?
Please see my system info below:

AK310 CANBUS may not support manual transmission reverse control
On the main unit, the reverse light 12V needs to be connected to the G5.

Thank you. Connecting to G5 solved it
