JhonnyD also works with other dongles, the name restriction is not on Dudu7 2nd module (see picture above - my dongle is named vLinker MC...). The restriction used to be on Joyings etc. in their firmware, not sure whether still the case. I have a Joying also and DuduOS on it, no restrictions then.
