Great job fixing the RDS in the radio app. Titles are now displaying properly in this update. I personally think the RDS font should increase in size a little more.

I wanted to thank you for the tremendous improvement effort you're making.
All I can say is that the new configuration interface and interaction logic are impressive!!! It has nothing to do with the old one.
This makes things easier and more intuitive to find!
So far, it seems super stable on my dudu7.
I've only found two issues, which I don't know if they've been reported to you yet.
The first is that in the status bar, you have the option to set the time in the "middle position" and "left position."
If you set the format to the middle position, how do you remove the left position? The translation into Spanish must not be very accurate and is incomprehensible. As a workaround, I added a "," to get around this issue and avoid duplicates.
The second error detected is that when you have the radio on, if you use an app like "RADARDROID" to warn you of speed cameras, what it does when the warning comes on is turn off the radio. It's as if it doesn't know how to continue playing the player it was on.
But this only works with the radio, but if you have the Spotify player on, the player continues to play when an alert from the Radardroid app pops up.
In my Honda Civic I don't have a SWC home button to easily go back to the home screen.
If I tie apps to the "Mode button" on my SWC I can assign various apps, but there is no way to go back to the home screen using the SWC. Even if the 1st mode button is tied to nothing "no app", it is not happening.
Could this be a useful feature request for the future?
Secondly, I noticed that in Dudu6 devices that don't come with a built-in gyroscope you still see the car positioning in inside the "Vehicle Details" application. I would propose to remove this because it doesn't show any values because it can't.
Long press for home/desktop is possible

How? Do you mean a long press on the SWC mode button that is tied to "no app"?
I'll give it a try...
My issue was that there was no function "home screen" to tie the button to.

I can't upload pictures anymore. Why ever...
If you go to settings/protocol/swc you can set the buttons. Lets say number 67 you sat source button. Then you can see on the left side of 67 source. On the right side of 67 is long press. Set screen off or whatever
The experience has been quite smooth so far! I have a few suggestions though:
First of all, there needs to be an option to make the navigation bar larger. Currently, it is very small and unadjustable. This makes it dangerous to use while driving, and just difficult in general. It seems I'm not the only one to have brought this issue up, it needs to be manually scaleable in the settings menu.
Second, this is a little picky, but it would be nice to have the ability to change your ringtone in the bluetooth phone app. Even after installing duduOS, the ringtone for the head unit stayed the same, and I am not able to change it through the app, or through android system settings.
It's been a great user experience overall so far, definitely better than the stock os on my head unit. Good job!
JhonnyD I take it you are referring to the key learning function which I cant use with a canbox.
Long press on the Mode key doesn't bring you back to home, I just sat in the car and tried. However, I found a workaround by using the Navbar on the left side of the screen with its "home" icon that you can click.
Can someone tell me if the latest release has updated the built in widgets to use the speed and temperature units of measure set in the settings? For example the weather widget seems 50% there. I have temp setting to "F" and speed to "mph" and the temp, tmps, and speed widgets seem to be a mixed bag showing both mph and Km/h in widgets and F and C temp in widgets. The 2K DVR is also not using the speed unit from settings and defaults to Km/h

Hi.
In the stock firmware, in the Bluetooth calling app, I could select a ringtone. I used this to make the ringtone quieter. Since the ringtone and call volume are adjusted together, the ringtone is very loud!
There is no such function in DIDU5.
I have to find a way to replace the blink_ring.mp3 file in the system folder, for this I need root.
But this is too complicated, maybe there is an easier way?
Yes this would be a great idea.
Change ring tone or change the volume.
Maybe it will come in the future.

Few things noticed after installation.
- On screen air conditioning not work properly when dual mode enabled - right value is not right
- In settings menuwhen popup window appears and CAN back button presses (external pannel) that background manu navigation is triggered instead of popup settings
- Time widget fonts is not fully visible.
