I dont have any background apps running. The reloading on the attached video happens with just two pip apps running google maps and spotify. I have done some more testing and went back to beta1 to see if the problem is there. It is not. Then i upgraded to beta2 and it is working fine as well. Reloading starts with beta 3 and later. Beta 1 and 2 feels much smoother for my device as well.
I guess beta 3 and later eats more resources out of the box ?

  • I would like to report a bug/problem that I encountered in dudu os beta 3.6 (beta3,4,5)

The problem is the constant refreshing of pip apps.

I noticed that the refresh rate increases depending on the load of the device. For example, if an application (that does not belong to any pip window) is updating in the background, pip windows refresh more often. If the radio is not used for a longer period of time, the refresh rate decreases.

Refreshing occurs even if nothing is happening in the background. The highest frequency is right after restarting the device.

Refreshing is annoying because it causes the air conditioning panel or the application selection window to disappear.

3.6 beta1 - this problem does not occur
    3.6 beta2 - I have not tried this version
    3.6 beta3 - the problem occurs
    3.6 beta4 - the problem still occurs
    3.6 beta5 - the problem still occurs

I am attaching link to a video that shows the described problem.

  • Hello,

I currently use two pip widgets, spotify and google maps. It would be nice to have the option to launch the app inside the widget with one tap for example. Currently all apps load immediately on boot which slows down the weak head units. I don't need maps regularly but it would be nice to be able to launch them quickly with one tap on a preconfigured widget
