  • It’s true, understanding the ui is a big challenge indeed!

    • I solved this by moving the navbar to the left, reboot, then could drag the widgets up from the bottom of the screen.

    • While playing with the settings all my widgets have disappeared and i cant figure out how to get them back. Ive tried all the obvious things. Is it something to do with Pip?

    • Not sure I’ve seen these screens in my dudu7 - how to I get them please?

Also, I cannot find this HUD unit on Mekede-mall - is it available to buy?

      Thank you.

      • Hi, I am in UK. Using the default radio app I scanned for stations, then scanned for station logos. One of them is in correct and I’d like to delete that logo and scan again. How can I do that? Deleting the station and just scanning the frequencies again brings back the station with the wrong logo again - is there somewhere in the file system I can delete the logos?

      • Whilst waiting for a calibration cloth to arrive I notice that there is an import option for settings. Is there anywhere to download files for different cars to try? Are these shared on here or somewhere else?

        Thanks.

        • Hi, I believe it’s possible to connect a 2nd display to the dudu7 through usb-c. Does this connection also support a touch screen and can it show different content to the main head unit?

          Thanks.

          • I was going to buy the expensive type calibration cloth that says it’s good for automatic calibration. This one from AliExpress:

            https://a.aliexpress.com/_Ewbu1fg

I’m unsure about which size to get for my car, as I don’t know if the dimensions listed for the 3 sizes mean the car, or the cloth.

My car is 4850mm long by 1830mm (not including wing mirrors).

Could anyone suggest which is the correct one to buy and whether this cloth would give a good automatic calibration?

            Thanks.

          • I have had this same problem as well, only left and right camera working. After a factory reset I have NO cameras working now, and cannot work out how to fix it.

          • Hi, my sound used to work by using a MOST canbus to direct sounds to my built in amplifier. It has recently stopped outputting sound, which is annoying as I cannot figure out why. However, my long term goal is to remove my oem amplifier and connect the speakers direct the dudu7, and use the dudu7 amp. I’m assuming this should work, although I have read that maybe it’s not possible - but dudu7 does have a built in amp right?

Anyway, to test this I connected a spare speaker up to one of the analogue outputs (front left) but the volume was so low it couldn’t be heard.

Is there a setting that needs to turn the internal amp on?

            • Ok, nothing makes much sense. Nothing would make it work, then I went to factory settings and toggled reversing camera switch off:

This gave me left and right cameras working!

But how to get the front and rear to work now? Note, I have plugged left and right into all the connectors and confirm the connection is ok, just the cameras not working.

              • Do these yellow RCA’s need connecting? It makes no difference if I do or don’t, but just wondered.

              • I have disconnected all four cameras, tried them one by one, disconnected harness from head unit and inserted again, confirmed on my box that I have 360. Nothing will bring up an image on my 360 app.

Maybe the 360 chip isn’t there, or not working? What else can it be?

I have images I took if you want to see them.

              • Yes, it’s 360 bought direct from Mekede with the cameras. 12/512.

                • I’ve had quite a few install issues which have been frustrating- steering wheel controls not working, Bluetooth and WiFi not reliable, all but one now resolved 😊

I had my 360 cameras professionally fitted, at some cost and driving distance, only for him not to be able test the install because there was no 360 app. I solved that when I returned home - a factory reset and select 360 camera purchased. But, camera app shows nothing but black screens, no images can be displayed at all.

My installer assures me the wires are all connected, tight, and I’ve confirmed it’s seated well in the back of the head unit.

What else can I do or try to turn on the cameras? Is there any activation required?

Who can help with this last issue.

Ps - there may be one other future issue, but that’s for another day!

I did what you said, updated Bluetooth firmware and…..it seems to work ok now! Reliable Bluetooth connection without hotspot turning on. So thank you very much!

I have to ask though, why you didn’t tell me to do this first, as you told me to try so many other things before doing a firmware update 🤷‍♂️

Well, at least it works now. Thanks again.

                • Just to say, setting to 360 panorama mode does bring up the app, but my cameras are not working 😡 just black screens.

Thank you, I will test this later. Does this then activate an app or do I download/install from elsewhere?
