  • Dudu 7 - 1 DIN motherboard photo?

I read that Dudu 7 is also a 1 DIN motherboard style option. But none of the Aliex... Sellers has any photo of 1 DIN motherboard attached to display. YouT... no luck either.

Can anyone send some pictures?

    Dusan111 the same as any other android unit. There’s nothing special here.

        ciubaka so i can buy 1DIN unit where i believe is one extra metallic piece "T shaped" that transforms motherboard orientation? And if i dont need 1 DIN orientation, i can screw it off?

            Dusan111 would this be what your looking for? Took me forever to locate this style, the converter is listed as alone din 🤷🏼‍♂️

              Would this also work for the DUDU7 11.5"? I ordered these two items and I think I need something like the conversion kit you linked to so it will work.

                IamDefiler то что у вас по ссылкам используется только для 12.3" дисплеев. Для 11.5" дисплея эти рамки не подойдут.

                    Chubaka885 One of the links is for the 12.3". The other is for fitting an 11.5" or 13" to the 12.3" fascia.

                      I would say yes, because I just ordered the 11.5" version and the good folks at DUDU Auto said I needed to do this to the frame I needed. They asked me if it was ok for them to do it and I told them no but send me the kit and I'll do it myself. They said that was no problem at all.....

                            I converted my DUDU7 head unit to 1 DIN with that sort of T shaped metal adapter, it was pretty easy. The only issue is that the gyroscope now doesn't really work, even after calibration, probably cause the sensor is read with the assumption that it sits vertically and not horizontally (which effectively inverts the axis). Maybe a point for the devs to add a configuration option to fix the gyro for cases like this?

                              I am in the process of installing mine, it is also set up as a "1din" What are you missing out on with the gyroscope not working? Compass?

                                  tsbrewers compass is working ok I think. I’m not sure where the accelerometer is used, but the vehicle page showing the pitch and roll of the car is all over the place.
