• Introducing Weblate - Contribute to DUDUAUTO's Localization Efforts!

Dear DUDUAUTO Community,

We are excited to introduce Weblate, our new localization platform that allows users to actively participate in translating DUDUAUTO's content into various languages. By contributing your language skills, you can help make our resources accessible to a broader global audience.

Getting started with Weblate is simple:

  1. Visit https://weblate.dudu-auto.com and create an account.
  2. Once logged in, you can start translating right away. The default source language is set to Chinese, but you can choose any second language as a reference.
  3. Select the project you want to contribute to and begin translating the strings.
  4. Your translations will be reviewed and, once approved, will be included in the next update of our localized content.

We are committed to delivering the most up-to-date translations to our users. As part of this commitment, we will be updating the translated content in our APK application on a weekly basis. This means that your contributions will be quickly integrated into the app, allowing users to experience the improved localization firsthand.

We believe that this collaborative effort will not only improve the quality of our translations but also foster a sense of community among our users worldwide. By seeing your translations in action every week, you can take pride in knowing that your efforts are making a direct impact on the user experience.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the users who take the time to contribute their translations. Your efforts are invaluable in making DUDUAUTO's content accessible to people from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

If you have any questions or need assistance with Weblate, please don't hesitate to reach out to our localization team.

Thank you for being a part of the DUDUAUTO community and for your support in this localization initiative. Together, we can break down language barriers and create a more inclusive platform for everyone.

Best regards,
The DUDUAUTO Team

Weblate update makes string localization easier

We introduced a new "CODE" category in Weblate, adding it as a reference language. This category is designed to help localize strings in DUDU OS more efficiently. Translators can now enable fast language switching in DUDUOS car machine "Settings" ~ "Labs" ~ "Developer Options", so that they can quickly switch between the current language and "CODE" strings.

We hope that this change will make it easier for translators to find and process specific strings. Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all users who have contributed to the translation process.
