My parking sensors are not working or detected. I have front sensors and back ones. The canbus works in steering wheels, door opening and car speed. But parking sensors arent detected or working. When i reverse the headunit detect reverse mode but i have not signal from the sensors.

I attached picture of the 2 canbus i tried and received and the cable used in addition to reverse mode i got

Hello, I have same situation just with E Class model W211 2007, Dudu 7. The canbus also work in my situation with steering wheel but no parking sensors are detected or working. Is there a fix for this?

Grga No beeps from parking sensors?
    Is the CANBUS working properly?

    • Grga replied to this.

dudu-lai As far as I can tell everything works (stearing wheel buttons, dimming on the head unit, reverse signal,...) so I believe the CANBUS decoder should be working. And yes I get no beeps from the parking sensors. I am new to this headunit so if u don't mind me telling is there any specific CANBUS I need to chose for my car and is there anything I should update in the headunit?
      thank you for your time!

Grga As far as I know, the car's sensor sounds do not need to go through CANBUS.
Does the car have a physical “P” button to turn sensor sound on/off?
Or is the radar disabled in the dash settings?

Yes I think it does, do you mean this button

No the radar is enabled in the settings, even the reverse lines work when I move the steering wheel.

Grga Yes, that's the pushbutton switch I was referring to. The light is on to indicate on.

Okay, but if the sensors are on there is no light on the button but if I press the button the light turns red and the sensors turn off.
The parking system uses those lights
to indicate how near you are to something and they are working, just that the beeps were lost after the headunit upgrade. 😔🥲

Grga Hi, I consulted Hiworld and his response was
Steps: connect the stock host and let the sensor beep normally, then unplug the stock host and test if the sensor makes a sound.
If there is no sound, then the beeps are relying on the factory main unit to make the beeps, then a CANBUS box would be needed to make the sound, but Hiworld does not currently have a Mercedes-Benz CANBUS box that can make the beeps!
If there is sound, the beeps are coming from the car's instrumentation and installing a DUDU device or CANBUS box will not affect it!

Oh I see you are working fast haha.
I have just one question, by 'host' you mean the OEM radio unit or something else?

              Grga Yes, OEM radio
Maybe we have a similar time difference, during my work hours, haha

Okay I will try that, I will get back to you when I test it and let you know how it went. 😃
Yeah that probably it, I'm form EU. 🙂

Hi, so I didn't test what you suggested but the parking sensors now work somehow haha. Before taking everything apart I updated everything that i could find on the headunit and now it works, and also the canbus is recognized and not showing 'unknown'. So yeah, sorry to bother you with all of this when there was a simple solution like this. Thanks again for everything 😃

Grga Ok, it's good that the problem is solved.
