  • Connecting Backup Camera

Hello,
I currently have a (broken) backup camera installed from my old android head unit.
This camera cable harness does not have black and red wires for camera power supply.
The old camera worked with just a red 12 V wire connected to a 12 V supply from the head unit.
You can see the cable harness in the picture.
I only had to connect the yellow video connector and the red wire on the buttom for my old camera and head unit to work.

Is it possible to make the Duduauto backup camera work with my existing camera harness?
On the Duduauto harness I saw a wire labeled "CAM 12 V", would this work?
I really would like to avoid disassemling half of my car to replace the cables.

    Yes, there are many ways to connect the reversing lens. You can use the original reversing line to supply power. The rear reversing trigger can be connected to the reversing lamp. The negative pole can be connected to the body grounding.
