  • Issue with SWC/Canbus on Teyes headunit

I installed DuduOS on the Teyes head unit installed in my Ford Mondeo, and I can't get the steering wheel buttons to work. The head unit is equipped with a Canbus as recommended by Headunit manufacturer (the Canbus is connected to the climate control panel). CANBUS

Before installing DuduOS, the steering wheel buttons could be programmed as SWC and worked correctly. Unfortunately, DuduOS does not allow manual programming of the buttons after connecting the Canbus. Is there any way to solve this? Why does the Canbus exclude manual button programming?

A/C works correctly, as well as reverse gear detection and reverse camera.

Krzysiek The DUDU does not have this feature. If you want to learn the SWC button, you need to connect the signal cable to KEY1 of the device

Problem solved by installing Teyes SWC app which allows button mapping.

Is it possible to share applications?

I have the same problem that my SWC is not working. I also have a Ford Mondeo 2008 and a DUDUAUTO 7 head unit.
Does the Teyes SWC app work for me too?

        I really need a solution

Teyes' MCU is not the same as DUDU's.
So the steering wheel controls can't be adapted, you can only install Teyes' app to edit them.

With my Mekede M700s with the same Canbus module, SWC worked wonderfully.
Unfortunately not with DUDUAUTO 7 Headunit... 🙁 Is there any other way to get the SWC up and running?
