Bricked Headunit?

Hi All, I have a 10 inch 7862 based unit 4gb+64gb no soft buttons and have Dudu 3.5 Beta installed. Yesterday, the unit suddenly just started bootlooping for no reason, so it constantly loads up the Dudu logo.

I have tried to reset it and reflash however does not want to seem to reflash. Anyone know how to factory reset this to reboot? Thanks!

Try to reflash it again. The FYTs have a built in "trigger mechanism" for recovery mode in case of 3 unsuccessful starts.
Add your usb-stick. As soon as the boot logo appears, press the reset button in the "pin hole" with a needle or other "pointy thing".
do this 3x as soon as the boot logo appears.
The 4th time the flash should start.

surfer63 Thanks so much for the reply, I did try this, but the 4th time doesn't' necessarily start the flashing. But after a few times of going to the boot logo and restarting, it seems to flash something.
Am I better to try reflash the base firmware of Dudu instead of the latest 3.5 firmware?

I would flash with the Dudu 3.5. It is not better or worse than older versions and does contain newer, advanced functionality.
Some bugs have been fixed, some new bugs introduced.
