  • Status Bar Freezing and Menu Not Opening

Hello,

I would like to report an issue I am experiencing with the system. To assist with a more effective investigation, I am providing the requested details below:

Detailed Description of the Issue:
In the image I have attached, there are two marked areas labeled 1 and 2:

Area 1: This area remains static and does not update. The issue persists constantly. It only updates after restarting the system and then remains frozen again.
Area 2: This area is completely unresponsive and does not open. Clicking on the section to the left, which displays the currently playing music, also produces no response. The issue resolves temporarily after restarting the system.
Frequency of the Issue:

Area 1: This issue occurs continuously.
Area 2: I am not entirely sure how frequently this issue happens, but it has occurred twice in the past three days.

I have attached the relevant screenshot as per the instructions. The image was obtained by pressing and holding the top-left picture for 3 seconds in “Car Settings” → “About.”

Thanks for the feedback. We will check this issue. The customization portion of the information in the status bar is only available in Chinese. We will continue to improve

Update:This issue occurs when I turn off the car and then start it again. Specifically, when the unit enters sleep mode and wakes up, the issue arises. Out of five attempts, the problem occurred four times.

Update:
This issue still persists in version 250328.

When the issue occurred, forcing Dudu Launcher to stop temporarily resolved it until I turned the vehicle off and restarted it. To address this, I created a reset.apk that automatically forces Dudu Launcher to stop when executed. I also configured this APK to launch when long-pressing the clock shortcut. Whenever the issue occurred, I would simply long-press the clock, and the process would run automatically, keeping the system functional until I restarted the vehicle.

Later, I performed a factory reset installation of version 241222 and took a long trip without making any adjustments. I realized that the issue did not occur at all.

To pinpoint the cause, I tested my settings one by one and finally identified the source of the issue! It happens when enabling the "Outside Temperature" option in the Status Bar Settings.

Through testing, I confirmed that when "Outside Temperature" is disabled, no issues arise. However, when enabled, the problem occurs at every startup. Since this feature is not essential, I am currently keeping it disabled and using the system without any issues.
