  • Typing a number in dialer doesn't filter contact list properly

When you start entering numbers in the dialer, the contacts are filtered but I have no idea how are they filtered

Preconditions:
You have to have some contacts synchronized

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Bluetooth Phone
  2. Start typing phone number which is saved in contacts

Expected result:
Contacts list will be filtered to only those contacts which have this specific digits sequence in the number
for example if I type 505 those numbers should be displayed:
505123423
634505241
350512349

or it should be filtered using letters under the numbers - to find "dad" you should enter "323"

Current result:
I don't know how to explain current result, contacts seem to be displayed randomly

ciubaka Here we are using Chinese input method for filtering, we will modify the matching rules

    Confirmed

this looks fixed only in pop-up mode. In window mode it doesnt work at all

“In window mode”,what does this mean?

caolz there are two modes for displaying extended widget: pop-up, which slides up and window, which is displayed in the pip place, like that

In korea, the order is "ㄱ ㄴ ㄷ ㄹ~~". Correction is needed.

I am using the latest dudu 7862 user interface in English and my dialer did not filter at all. i had to enter text in the search box. All my contacts were synchronised. When I refreshed this it allowed me to filter by phone number.
I would prefer the dialer to function like a T9 filter where it looked up the contact name. This is how a phone dialer usually works.
Edit: sorry, maybe this should be a feature request?
