  • dudu7 having problems with CarPlay and AndroidAuto

FYI, today I checked for updates on google play store and all apps on headunit needed updating including Android auto, Waze and spotify.
Dont know if has changed anything yet as havent had a chance to try.
Never know, it could fix things.
Worth trying.

Same problems here with brand new 10" dudu7 12Gb 256MB unit. I update it to 3.6 beta 2 but same problems with android auto. Phone is a Xiaomi poco x6 pro. The strange thing is that the phone immediately says: android auto connected. But the dudu7 does nothing. So than when i disable bluetooth on my phone and re enable it. Its mostly works but it seems i need to bring up the carlinkit app on display of the dudu7 first. Wil try the carlinkit in PIP today.

Same issue for me. Very inconsistent but seems disabling Bluetooth on phone and reenabling works most of the time. The 1st connection from a cold start will always seem to fail. Using OnePlus Nord phone.

I'll try again when the next version of the system is updated.
The latest carlink will be updated with the latest SDK!

    DUDU-Meng I found a solution to make it work the first time turn on Hotspot before you open the carlink app and it will work I hope they will make a setting that will turn on Hotspot when the car start

          Hoy he comprobado a fondo el funcionamiento de nuestra DUDU7 con Android Auto y Carplay, y definitivamente puedo decir que el sistema de conexión a través de Car Link 2.0 tiene problemas de configuración o algo más grave en el software.
          Los desarrolladores deberían comprobar cuál puede ser el motivo por el que algunas vece no se conecta de forma inalámbrica, y sin embargo algunas veces se conecta automáticamente a mi móvil y funciona perfectamente

          Latest 3.6E update killed the Android auto totally. Not connecting wirelessly and wired connection cuts all the time... May need to go Back to 3.6...

          I have the same issue. Wireless android auto doesn't work at all. Wired is on.
          Apple Car play don't start at all neither wireless or wired

            Went back to 3.6 and wireless android auto connects again. Not everytime but it atleast works. 3.6e = Android auto doesnt work. Not problem with phone. Phone works with other AA units.

            I have no issues with 3.6E and wireless AA. Works perfectly with my Pixel 7 on the first connect every time.

            I made factory reset and then installed 3.6E again with also reset. Now it seems to connect wirelessly without problems. Hopefully it stays this way. Happy now!
