  • Audio setting - Balance (left - right channel)

My DUDU7 Version Information here:

This bug is only when I play music via RCA or Optical output (and maybe Coax too). Via internal amplifier is everything OK.
Android Settins - Accessibility - Audio Adjustment - Balance: If I move the slider to the left, the left channel in the left speaker plays. That's OK. If I move the slider to the right, only the very high and very low frequencies play in the right speaker. The entire midrange is missing. And if a slider is in the middle, only the left channel plays in both speakers.
I have tried playing music via bluetooth phone. The balance control (in Android settings) didn't work, but sound was fine. The left speaker played the left channel and the right speaker played the right channel. The stereo resolution was fine.

I record short video: https://imgur.com/kdpa2XW

    Robin Video cannot be viewed

Robin простите, но зачем вы полезли в это меню?
Баланс, в том числе и сцену, можно и нужно регулировать в настройках DUDU (Vehicle -> Sound)

dudu-lai Where should I upload the video so it can be viewed?

Chubaka885 In menu "Vehicle" there is no sound settings.

Or do you mean menu "Sound - Soundstage - Channel focus ?

Robin да, возможно я ошибся с пунктом меню. Все настройки нужно делать в этом меню.

Chubaka885 When SPDIF Pass-through is set to "ON", channel focusing is disabled.

But make no mistake. I don't need to move the balance slider. I'm showing it in the video to better describe the error. Because I believe there is a (software) bug in the Balance function. Which manifests itself by sending sound only from the left channel to both (left and right) audio outputs.
But I repeat, the error only occurs if the RCA or digital output is used and if music is played from USB (or internal memory). If music is played from Bluetooth, everything is fine.

            I made another attempt.

Balance slider (and channel focus) are both set to center.

I played two test audio files. On the file labeled "01 Position Left", is recorded audio only for the left channel. It plays normally in the left speaker in the full frequency band.
I then play the file labeled "05 Position Right". In this file, the recorded sound is for the right channel only. As you can hear, only the high and low notes are heard from the right speaker.

            I recorded a video:

Robin вы отключили настройки DTS? Отключили ли вы задержки в меню сцена?

Chubaka885 Yesterday I found out where the mistake is. Not in the DUDU head unit, but in my Helix DSP. I made a rookie mistake in virtual channel processing. It's my shame that I didn't notice it.
Anyway, thanks for trying to help.
