• DUDU OS
  • Tpis temperature read c instead of f

So there are no temp setting in app to change the temp just the pressure unit we need f in USA. Also other setting show up as c for temp even though all the settings in factory settings are set to f.

Does the air conditioner show C? Or is the weather on the desktop?

I have a similar issue. How do I change the temperature on the status bar on the top ight corner of the screen and in the weather widget on the desktop to read in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius?

I think they are speaking in regards to the external bluetooth temperature sensor. Mine will only read in Celsius on the dudu7 unit

No, @badwhip is speaking about the several temperatures as received by the CANbus decoder: Air conditioning temperatures, internal temperature, external temperature.
@Pseudonym531 is talking about the CANbus widget AND the weather widget, which is an internet based widget.

Is there a workaround for having the external bluetooth temperature sensor to read in Fahrenheit?

Thanks so much for all your work so far and for including this in your plans. I just want to bump this thread to see if there has been any progress. I'm running DUDU 3.5 on DUDU7 and don't have this option. When I attempt to switch from C to F in the CANbus settings, it doesn't save. If I change pages and go back to the CANbus settings page, it shows C selected no matter how many times I change it to F.

    Thanks!

same here, when i switch from c to f on the canbus settings it does not save. goes back to Celsius. any update or fix to this, i have the feeling we would need to go into developer mode here!
