  • DPI settings for DuduOs

Hello, i have a 9 inch unit with 1200p screen. Everything is very small with the default settings.
Can we please have some way of adjusting the dpi? At least for the apps, so that navi and carplay apps are showing bigger texts.
Thank you, overall the product is amazing!

We have a way to adjust the DPI. But like you say is only for apps not for the system UI.
First you'll have to select the normal mode in the settings.

After that in PiP settings you must adjust the settings circled after your liking.
If you use the minimal mode don't worry. The settings modified here will be applied to the minimal mode too.
Hope this helps.

This only works for apps in PIP, so to say, on the desktop.
What I want is DPI settings for fullscreen apps. Like, my Android Auto, Waze, or whatever else.

You need/can do that in the Android Settings (bottom right)

And then select the "Accessibility" Option (blue icon bottom left) and then "Display Size and text".

That sets it for the system independent of DPI. (Well, not totally independent but overruling defaults for a certain DPI)

surfer63 thank you for the suggestion, but i don't have this setting since im running m500s, not dudu7 hardware.

also, the pip setting for dpi has the maximum value the same as the fullscreen app value, so i can only make apps texts appear smaller in pip, not bigger.
