I ordered MEKEDE DUDU7 2K 8+128g (UIS7870) car radio android player for vw tiguan , as a replacement for the dead SPRD ums512_1h10_natv head unit and I have several questions and problems.
- My previous device had an attached DVR with ADAS inside behind the rearview mirror, an external camera on the front of the car (coaxial cable) and a reverse camera. I connected them all with existing cables into the same slots that matched the specification.
A) The front camera works normally
B) The reverse camera works but with a lower resolution,
C) DVR with ADAS does not work (the system does not recognize the camera)
Do I need to look for drivers, if so, where can I find the camera specification?
- The new system has its own external microphone, which I connected, but when making a phone call the microphone does not work?
Where can I find options to control it?
DUDU OS is quite different from anything I've encountered so far;
- Split screen,
- increasing letters,
- volume up or down controls (they only work on the steering wheel), maybe some kind of structured manual would help.
