I can't calibrate it neither. I choose calibration option and I move both lines but can't get it.
2K DVR ADAS calibration
Gwinambele You'll have to keep the DVR app in foreground about 5 seconds when you get on the road to get the dvr working. As for the calibration, you have to keep it more than 5 seconds.
So I have to run it Everytime after radio start to make it work?
I will try later during daylight.
Maybe it was to dark in the morning.
Can't make it to work.
I have "adas calibrating" All the time. I have tried to move both horizontal and vertical lines and nothing.
Do I have to make it while parked or while driving?
Any ideas?
Gwinambele You need to drive for some time. Then the ADAS will start detecting the cars.
Does this work with low light or just during daytime?
And do I have to calibrate it every time or just once?

Gwinambele I only tried it during daytime so I don't know what happens with dark times. As for the calibration, you only have to do it once.
Ok it's finally working even I dark.
I was also surprised it's talking in polish language
i know it might be a dream but since the camera recognizes vehicles in front would be possible to camera recognize speed limit signs and display last seen sign as floating icon or something?
i know it would have to be huge update of firmware but...?
Gwinambele
A common ADAS feature included in the apps that come with many Chinese DVR cameras only recognize cars and lanes ahead.
The Android app "UGV Driver Assistant" recognizes speed limit signs with a camera, reads out the speed and displays floating icons for some signs. The app also recognizes objects other than cars and lanes.
Unfortunately, the app cannot be used with Chinese DVR cameras because it does not allow you to select the camera to use and does not have fisheye correction function.
Well while in the city adas is working OK on highway it doesn't recognize cars in front and constantly inform about line change when I overtake.
when im driving on highway at 120-140 kmh/h distance that camera is recgonising whehicles in front of me is max 30m.
its kinda to low.
is there any way to increase that distance?

Gwinambele Please do not expect a dash camera to be as good as a full ADAS system. The factory ones use radar to detect the vehicles. My brother has the 2k DVR from DUDU and he uses it only as a dashcam. What I mean is I will never trust these ADAS systems based on a camera, not even the OEM ones. I have it on my car but it still has ghost brakes so...
But this is only my opinion. Everybody else can have a different one.
