Nissan Connect Support

I've a 2004 Nissan Pulsar Q (N16) sedan (Australian model, "Selphy" in Japan?). I'm led to believe Nissan vehicles of this era use a different OBD port protocol.

Does the DUDU7 headunit support Nissan's protocols / ISO protocols?
What compromises / unsupported features can I expect?
Will things like speed, door opening, etc. work?

chrisandrew Yes, i can only second surfer63 here. In a nutshell, whether all functions work properly is Russian Roulette and depends on the canbus box. That's why some users swapped their Hiworld for a Raise canbus box and so forth.

The basic OBD protocol is a world-wide standard required by international law and the OBD-II protocol was already established in 1997, so also your Nissan must follow this (basic) standard.
Apart from the emission values, which are the standard, every car manaufcaturer has its own extensions to the OBD protocol, not only Nissan.
It is not to say what is supported for your Nissan. It is all closed source software in combination with Chinese CANbus decoders all having slightly different implementations per brand/model.
