I have a Dudu7 unit with the proper wire harness for 2019 and newer Nissan Qashqai. Everything seems to work including the OEM 360 camera BUT, the image has some refresh issue which I can’t video or take an image of easily. The picture is as clear as the camera provide (which is crappy lol) but I get almost like a flicker/wave in the image that I know is not there with the OEM radio. Does anyone else see this? Would it have something to do with the cameras requiring 6 volts instead of 12? Something else? All connections are solid and like I said, the image is ok but something seems off.

Hard to see in the video but you can see what I am talking about. Is this normal?

Tswire When the resolution of the screen becomes higher, but the video resolution does not change. It will become more blurred than before, that is to say. Low-resolution video will be more blurry on a high-resolution display because the screen magnifies the video.
Yes, like I said I know the resolution is bad and always was. It’s the flickering wave or pulsing of light that is hard to capture on video that I am talking about. Something is interfering with video signal or there might be a wrong voltage somewhere. That’s wat it looks like.
I think it might be due to the Dudu7 using AHD video format for the display vs TVi or NTSC like other units do. For most OEM 360 cameras (especially Nissan) the first of the video is always 480i at best. It seems like other Android stereos are able to show the OEM rear camera without overblown colors or what I can see which is sync issues (wavy and pulsing bright spots). Please take a look
Like I said a number of times, blurry and crappy resolution is expected. I get that. What I keep trying to say is that the sync or refresh rate or something is off with pulsing and sometimes flickering wavy image. This is a conversion problem in the Dudu7 as other brand Android head units don’t have this. Please take a look

Thanks. It’s my OEM camera which is part of 360 camera setup that Nissan has. How can you change those cameras since the 360 camera processing is a Nissan module that the Dudu simply displays on the screen? I would be willing to upgrade all 4 cameras and eliminate the Nissan module BUT I was told my Dudu 7 bought 1 month ago does not have the 360 chip.
As now seen with others this flickering is NOT normal. It truly seems like Nissan vehicles are getting no support and might move to a different brand (Te’yes has new one coming). This OEM 360 camera image is annoying and SHOULD be fixed via software with video resolution changes or something. Add this to the extreme lack of canbus support (in Dudu7, not the canbus adapter) it’s not a great experience for any Nissan user. Please let us know if you have the desire to develop Nissan further.
Which setup did you buy? I also considering to buy but I have an older Qashqai J10 (2012).
For me the doors open/closed are not detected. My OEM reversing camera works if I switch the camera setting to the OEM. My steering wheel buttons can be learned in the SWC menu.
I will check soon at daytime how the cameras are and if I get the same issue as you. I've also bought the 360 cam set as Im thinking to replace them to get better quality.
