Hi!
So I got this dilemma! I want to get a DUDU7 unit (YL888) but due to how the infotainment is built on my car, the 9.5 inch and bigger are to big and don't really fit! This means I need to find my own screen (8") and touchscreen(GT911) and build my own!
So what I'm wondering is it possible just buy the headunit without a screen?
And does the firmware support 1280x720 Resolution?
Electricly it's a standard GM, Same as Buick regal/Opel insignia:

I know him, he's good but I want to build a custom one with a screen that looks OE 
as 9.5 inch looks like this and doesn't look stock and the tapered bezels makes it so we I can mount in it behind!:

It seems that Dudu OS for Dudu7 works on 720p since there was a person who replaced his 2000x1200 display with 1280x720 one because the original screen broke. But some functions like setting button light colors are not compatible.

This would be great! As those panels seem to use the GT911 touchscreen and those come in various sizes! So it would be pretty much plug and play while making it look OE
