• Trip Counter shows no sign of living

Hi!
I just recently received my Dudu7 unit and I do like it so far. I get along with its numerous settings pretty well so far, but there is one thing I was not able to figure out. The trip widget which can be placed on the Home Screen does not show any data only zeros. On my previous units I used some launchers (Agama, FCC, etc) and they were all able to display my daily trip data and reset themselves every midnight, probably based on GPS usage. My shiny new knows-everything-does-everything Dudu unit is not capabable of completing this simple looking task others easily could handle? No way, I must have been missed something...
I wonder if anyone here can help me set this thing right or at least tell me it is impossible so I could quit blaming myself... 🙂
Thank you in advance!

Taker666 The trip widget is available at the moment only for China. They are working on implementing it for other regions as well.

      MihaiFlorin Thanks!
But fortunately you are not right.
I just recently created an account with Settings/UserID and the counter instantly started working. (Europe/Hungary) Its only drawback that you have to manually reset it every day for a day counter. Would be nice to have an option to do this automatically but I don't know how to file a feature request yet.

For me it does not work when using 4G network.
The service gets disconnected then. But i don't know why.

JhonnyD Maybe you carrier restrictions will not allow it. Just an idea though. What I don't understand is why we need this travel service thing at all when this data could be pulled from GPS usage I beleive.

OK, reference for others: the trip counter resets on every ignition off automatically, but stores my daily trip data in a calendar, which appears by tapping on the widget. So my 24h reset wish has been already handled, I was just not patient enough to discover it. Impressive! 🙂

JhonnyD The first time you register, you will get 6 months of travel service. Renewal service is required after expiration.
