DUDU-Meng
Dear DUDUAUTO Team,
There is a misunderstanding regarding my ambient light issue on DUDUOS 3.7 (DUDU7 / UIS7870). The issue is NOT a Bluetooth hardware or connection failure, but a BLE Data Payload / Protocol Mismatch in the native DUDUOS Ambient Light app.
Device Specs:
Head Unit: DUDU7 (UIS7870) running DUDUOS 3.7
Ambient Light Module: DUOCoStrip / SymphonyLight (Bluetooth BLE)
Key Diagnostic Points:
Bluetooth Pairing Works: The ambient light connects properly under DUDUOS Settings > External Devices > Ambient Light.
Commands Fail in DUDUOS App: When trying to change colors, brightness, or turn ON/OFF from the native DUDUOS Ambient Light app, the lights do not react at all.
Hardware & BT Stack Confirmed Working: If I install the third-party app SymphonyLight (or duoCo StripX) directly on the DUDU7 head unit, it controls all lights, colors, and modes perfectly via Bluetooth.
Conclusion & Request:
The Bluetooth hardware communication between DUDU7 and the LED controller works 100%. The problem is that the native DUDUOS Ambient Light app is sending an incompatible hex payload/UUID command that DUOCoStrip cannot parse.
Please add support for the DUOCoStrip / SymphonyLight BLE protocol (Service UUID & Write Characteristic) in the native DUDUOS Ambient Light app in the next update.
Thank you!
