Hi everyone,
I’ve been interested in how Android-based car head units can be used for more than navigation, music, and phone connectivity. Since DUDU OS provides an Android-based environment, I was wondering how practical it is to use an Android head unit for some light retro gaming when the vehicle is parked.
One of the interesting options is PlayStation 2 emulation. Of course, performance depends heavily on the processor, available RAM, graphics capabilities, and the emulator configuration. Higher rendering resolutions can also put considerably more load on the hardware.
There are also a few other things worth considering, such as Bluetooth controller compatibility, screen resolution, audio output, storage space, and whether the head unit can maintain stable performance during longer sessions.
I’ve been collecting some general information about PlayStation emulation, including BIOS concepts, emulator configuration, and troubleshooting:

I’m curious whether anyone here has experimented with retro gaming or emulators on a DUDU-based head unit.
What emulator or type of retro gaming have you found works well on your Android head unit?
Thanks!
