chovich Just installed dsp and connected it with optical cable, enabled passthrough , but I still have volume control? How to disable it? I only want to control the volume via dsp. Thanks
abidali chovich set default system volume to 36/36. Before that, go to Settings > Sound > Volume Settings and set Media volume to 29/36.
chovich abidali Hi, that is good way around! Is 29 100% clean signal? Did you tested it or have some topic on it? Because it definently distort over 30. Thank you
abidali chovich media volume at 29/36 is -0.44db and clean at max volume. While 30/30 would mean clipping. This is for SPDIF optical or Coaxial output.
liamstears For those using optical and dsp, are you able to control subwoofer level from head unit still? Are you able to pan speakers left/right front/back still? And what dsp do you use? Thanks in advance
abidali liamstears by default no EQ or head unit DSP settings apply. Master volume can be controlled via heqd unit.
liamstears abidali Thanks for replying, you saying by default makes it sound like there is a way to get it to work? Subwoofer control is my biggest concern I wonder if there is a way to do this or do I need to get a dsp that has an android app maybe?
abidali liamstears if you want to control from the head unit, there's option to disable pass-through which will make internal DSP work on optical.
liamstears abidali Thank you for the help Another question if I may for all, anyone found a decent dsp that doesn't cost the earth that can accept the 5.1 channel output of the Dudu and correctly assign those to 6 RCA outputs? Or at least the main 5 outputs?
