DUDU-Meng I tried this today but now the resolution is stretched all the time. I reverted to the last version you sent.

With latest update I lost control of Apple Music music player on CarPlay with SWC it was working fine next previous play stop… I tried several times to re-learn or change to Bluetooth or media controls but I lost this feature on latest update. DUDUOS7 - 7870

@DUDU-Meng Hi... sorry for my late feedback. I drive my car every day so i test a lot, like new beta but i have not really time to write my feedback here.

My last version intalled is the version provided in DUDU 3.8 Beta. It is Carlink V260920.
No bug for me on my 2000x1200 screen.
FHD resolution is perfect but it seems that scale is a little too low.

For example, to have elements bigger on my dual PiP main screen, i choose 280 DPI. Because at 200 DPI, elements like in Waze is too small.

And on Android Auto / Carlink, DPI seems like 200 or 180 and above all, it seems that DPI is fixed in Carlink and not sensible to change done in Dudu setting.

Benlatak Your first picture should be the old version of Android Auto running at 720P, and the new version running at 1080P after turning on FHD, so the picture will look different.

The pictures are screenshots done in Dudu. No modifications.
You can easily see that resolution is the same, juste the scale are different.
For me, and i don't know why, but Carlink V260.205 had directly FHD enabled and the version directly after V260.205 loss this FHD mode. Until the version you provide here.
Just the scale are different. And Carlink seems to no react of general dpi setting of Dudu OS.

As a reminder, in my 1st psot of this topic, you see differences between the two resolutions HD and FHD but scales were the same.

Benlatak This may be that the DPI of the new version of carlink has changed, it may not follow the system DPI changes
I will ask the developer of carlink, and I will reply to you if there is any news.

DUDU-Meng what is the difference with this version ? I saw a toggle for "intelligent zoom of screen" but display is the same for me. No dpi change.

DUDU-Meng on my Dudu7 13inch model the Android Auto with this latest version of carlink display looks low resolution, fuzzy image. Is there anyone from duduauto checking this or someone from carlink that we can create a specific thread with to address these issues?

It's been a long standing complaint for duduauto users and I thought 3.8 update would solve it, which it hasn't at all.

I also thought 3.8 would be bringing a feature where we could select carlink to open on startup.

Benlatak it worked with wire only for me on Dudu7 but steering wheel controls did not work + wireless did not work but the quality of CarPlay was too good and there were so many other options to change too

DUDU-Meng yes the image is poor quality with FHD toggle. Can we open a thread with Carlink developer access direct?

On the FYT 7870, wireless is not possible because physical problem with the bluetooth module
But the interesting thing is all the settings disponible for display : resolution, portrait, landscape,etc... and DPI

For my DUDU7 9" unit, 280 DPI is actually quite good, perhaps a little too big

But you can select 100 DPI if you have tiny fingers 😅

Or the "BIG" 320 DPI 😁

There is a lot of settings but for our Carlink on Dudu7, DPI setting is probably the most interesting
