Hi everyone,
I'm trying to better understand the wiring of the original DUDU 360 camera kit and I noticed something interesting in the pinout.
According to the connector diagram:
B11 = +5V for Front & Rear cameras
B12 = +5V for Left & Right cameras
while every camera has its own dedicated GND and VIDEO pins.
Also, only the Left and Right cameras have the additional signals:
B1 = Turn Left Detect
B2 = Turn Right Detect
This made me wonder:
Are the Front/Rear cameras electrically identical to the Left/Right cameras, or do they use a different internal pin assignment?
Do the wire colors at the camera side mean the same thing for all four cameras, or are the Front/Rear cameras wired differently?
Is the separate +5V supply (Front/Rear vs Left/Right) only for power distribution, or is there another reason behind this design?
I'm asking because I'm tracing the wiring of my kit and I'd like to understand the design before making any assumptions.
If anyone has compared the cameras or has the original wiring documentation, I'd really appreciate any information.
Thanks!
