Hello,
I have a DUDU7 head unit installed in a 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L with the factory automatic climate control system.
I have a problem with the integration of the factory A/C controls with DUDU.
The climate control is connected to DUDU through CANBUS, but the physical climate control buttons and the DUDU A/C interface are not properly synchronized. In particular, I cannot correctly change/control the airflow direction (MODE – face / feet / windshield, etc.) through DUDU.
In the DUDU CANBUS settings I am currently using:
CANBUS type: RZC (Raise)
Vehicle: Honda
Model: Pilot
Protocol available: 2016–2018 / 2016–2018 360View
The problem is that my vehicle is a 2012 Honda Pilot (2009–2015 generation), but there is no 2009–2015 Honda Pilot option available in the RZC CANBUS vehicle list.
I am currently using the 2016–2018 360View profile because it is the only relevant Pilot profile available, but I suspect that this CANBUS profile is not fully compatible with the 2012 Pilot climate control system.
Could you please advise:
Which CANBUS profile should I select for a 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L?
Is the 2009–2015 Honda Pilot supported by DUDU7/RZC?
Is there another compatible vehicle profile that should be selected instead?
Do I need a different CANBUS decoder/box for the 2009–2015 Honda Pilot?
Can support for the 2009–2015 Honda Pilot climate control be added to DUDU?
If necessary, I can provide CANBUS logs and a video while pressing the physical A/C buttons. Please tell me exactly what you need me to record.
The main function I need to restore is full synchronization and control of the factory climate system, especially the airflow direction/mode controls.
I can also provide photos of the CANBUS box, wiring harness, DUDU system information and the original climate control panel.
Thank you.
