This is the original central control unit, I removed it and installed an Hizpo S8. Now I've ordered a Dudu7. I would also try your canbus, instead of using the one that I installed with Hizpo radio.

Hi ,

I've installed a Hiworld FD01.10 (with buzzer) CAN-bus adapter in my 2008 Ford Mondeo 4. The head unit is a DUDU7 (12GB RAM / 512GB ROM) running DUDU OS 3.7.

What's working fine through the adapter:

Steering wheel controls – volume up/down, track prev/next

Climate control – full display and operation via the HU

Radio – frequency and station info

Media playback – track number, artist, title on screen

Reverse camera – auto-switch when engaging reverse gear

Headlight detection – button backlight dimming automatically

Problems I need help with:

MODE button – currently it cycles through audio sources (Radio → BT → USB → etc.). I only use Spotify, so I want to remap this button to Play/Pause or Mute. Since the buttons go through CAN (not resistive Key1/Key2), the standard SWC learning menu in the HU doesn't allow remapping. Is there any way to reconfigure this button on the adapter itself? Maybe a firmware update or a config tool that lets me change button assignments?

Door open status – the HU doesn't show which door is open. Does the FD01.10 support door status monitoring for the Mondeo 4 (2007–2014)? If yes, do I need to enable something in the HU settings, or is there a separate wire that must be connected?

Parking sensors – front and rear sensors are not showing up on the screen. Does the adapter support parking sensor integration for this car? If so, what's the correct connection method (CAN‑bus or additional wiring) and which settings should I turn on?

I've double-checked that the adapter is set to "Hiworld" in the factory settings of the HU and all connectors are seated properly.

Would really appreciate any advice from those who have a similar setup. If you have a firmware update or a configuration utility for this adapter, please share a link or instructions.

TheTony78 do you have the Convers screen or the regular "basic" one? Is the Radio showing also the RDS name? And for the media playback you can see the full track information??? I never got this to work correctly...I tried it on S-Max, but with only the basic screen, but the CAN system should be +/- the same as with the Convers screen and Mondeo...

You can replace the CANBOX with this model and the corresponding cable. Note that the cable cannot be your current model.

Which CanBus Box do i have to use for my Audi A4 B6 (8E2) limousine (build year: 2003). And will it show open doors/trink/hood on a DUDU7? and will all other common informations transfered like radio frequency from DUDU7 into my car cockpit and internal data like speed and such into the DUDU7?

That's correct. However, the factory display is located below the dashboard and is not visible after the installation.

Could you please add decoding of the ambient outside temperature CAN message to the CAN adapter firmware, so that the temperature can be displayed on the Android head unit screen?

On the facelifted Renault Megane II Phase 2 (2006+), the temperature data is available on the CAN bus and can be displayed simultaneously on both the multifunction display and the instrument panel.

We kindly ask your team to implement support for reading the ambient air temperature data from the CAN bus on the facelifted Renault Megane II Phase 2 (2006+).

May I ask you if Hiworld has a CANBUS box for a BMW with the NBT EVO system (2017)? It's an F20 facelift, but they should all have the same CAN addresses (F30 etc.). They should also be the same (or extremely similar) as the previous NBT (non evo) systems.
Other brands have their boxes, but they are severely lacking.
