PIP creating duplicate Google Maps

The issue is when using voice assistant (Gemini) to request directions to a destination, a duplicate google maps is launched while the original is still running over the top.

This is happening on the latest DUDU7 DUDU OS 3.7 running Minimalist Mode.

This isn’t the main Google Maps app; it’s the PIP feature integrated into Google Maps. When you run Google Maps in PIP mode, you should disable its PIP feature.
There are two ways to do this:

Open Google Maps settings, find PIP, and turn it off.
Open DUDUOS settings > More Features > Labs > PIP Settings, then check both “Disable floating window” and “Disable PIP” for Google Maps.
