CarPlay: People can't hear me during a phone call

Hi,

When I make a call, no one can hear me, even after several attempts.
I'm not sure if it's a microphone issue or something else. I'm using an external microphone.
When I say "Hey Siri," CarPlay responds normally. Except for calls.

I found the problem: the microphone wire was pinched by plastic trim around the dashboard...

Have you tried making a call using only Bluetooth? Can the other person hear you? Is your iPhone paired with a smartwatch?
You could also try manually updating to the latest system version.

This is not the public beta version; it is the version used by the closed beta group. I’m posting it here because it fixes some existing bugs, and I hope it will resolve these issues.
