MCU update changelog

Hello everybody,

Can someone please be kind and tell me what is the latest MCU available for Dudu7 (6g, 64 GB, 13 inch screen)?

Also it is very important to see the changelog for every version that is newer than mine.

I have the 2024.01.24 version.

I was in the same version than yours and i updated to this one on my DUDU7 and it worked perfectly 😉

This is the latest version, which fixes an issue where the USB power connection would be lost if the device was powered on again within 5 minutes of being turned off.

DUDU-Meng - I installed mcu 2026.04.07 and it fixes the volume issue (keep volume up or down pressed for volume up or down) but the popping sound when restarting is still there.

I put the file directly in the dudu7 and I started the update. First try it didn't work. It restarted but the old mcu was still there. The second try worked (the 2nd restart took longer than the first restart). Overall it took under 1 min to finish the job.

Do You have a solution for the popping sound?

Unknauwn I don't know...I wonder why the 5 sec update is separated from the periodic main updates. Can we install this 5 sec update or is it included in the 2026.04.07?

Heiseneit thx for your reply. Is there a specific procedure to do upgrade? Or just put 7Z file on USB Pen root folder and plug on Dudu7?

No, your teyes brand has locked your MCU to the TZY identifier, preventing you from upgrading to an MCU from another brand.
If you want to switch to a standard board, you can only do so by programming it using a programmer.

DUDU-Meng Thank you for the information. I like the support team of dudu. They are really attentive to what they do. In the future, I plan to replace my head unit with duduauto.
