How do i remove this firmware off of my head unit.

I have installed this OS randomly as i was stuck and couldn’t flash sny other firmware do to the anti rollback yet i am now stuck with this firmware on my unit ive have my device 3 weeks now and haven’t evem been able to use. Please tell there is a way to reinstall my stock firmware so i can actually install it into my car and have an actual audio system to listen too. Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue on a 3rd party FYT 8581a when restoring the factory backup.

On bootup, I see the following:

After a couple seconds, this screen loads and does not allow me to launch anything as this "适配中/adapting" screen is always on top and I cannot close it:

Reflashing to DUDU v3.7 restores functionality, but hoping to return to the factory firmware from backup.

this adapting screen need to wait it auto reboot 4-5 times to make system become available

if you have this screen mean it should be fine, no worry

Yes i just tried that downgrade file it formatted OEM etc and i tried following with installing my oem firmware but its giving me verity failed

@DUDU-Meng pkesse help me bro. I don’t want to have wasted $500 on a new head unit because I accidentally installed your firmware and now its locked my device with your firmware I don’t think thats really fair. Surely theres a way to get this bloody OS of of my brand new head unit.

Download your firmware again and use a clean USB stick. These verification errors mean your firmware package is corrupt. Either because the firmware package is corrupt or you have a USB stick with errors, so check it.

If its not the verification error its the timestamp because the DUDUOS is very recent i cant find any firmware new enough to replace it so im stuck with an OS I dont want but worst of all cant use.

8581: Because hardware specifications are frequently updated, FYT imposes restrictions with each update, preventing downgrades to versions released before those restrictions were implemented. If you are using a public FYT version and have upgraded to DUDUOS, simply find a public FYT system released around the same time as DUDUOS or later and flash it.

@DUDU-Meng (post #2) gave you the solution to add that file to your USB stick. That is when you got that verification error. Did you also try it with the new usb-strick/firmware from this last picture?
It should work. This method is already being used for several years going back to 2023 and older.

surfer63 i seen a post u made in XDA about root installed firmware for my device would that possibly work. ATM the only way it will be possible to flash is by using a pac and upgradedownload tool or research tool as its now in a biit loop after the splash screen. Over a month now since ive had this unit and still havent been able to put it in my car. Thannks in advance ill send a pic of my specifications.

Its only a 4gb 64gb as you know how they scam you on ali express by changing the build.prop

Did you try the "3x reset during boot"? like also mentioned on XDA? And did you try the empty lsec-downgrade.txt?
@DUDU-Meng mentions it is for 7870, but this file is already in use since the sc9853i units. Due to bugs in new firmware that wasn't tested enough, it was needed again on the 7870 units.

surfer63 I tried everything solution posted on that post bro and i read it thoroughly 2-3 times. I am dude that likes to do things right and try and find a solution before asking for help so whenever i do ask for help its usually my only option bro. 👍🏻👍🏻

@surfer63 yeah mate I tried that lsec-downgrade i can confirm the file does downgrade but it wouldn’t downgrade enough thats all.
@gchterry bro that would be awesome if you could do that mate. Is it in .pac form or OTA USB as my device isnt enumerating the USB properly atm it only stays active a for a sec not long enough for the bootloader to catch it. So i think my only option is upgradetool from UNISOC. I did find one .pac file on XDA but that’s for a ZA unit and doesn’t work on mine.

@surfer63 @DUDU-Meng I can confirm the lsec-downgrade file works on UIS8581a_2h10 SP9863 devices, it just wouldn’t downgrade it far enough thats all.

8581: The current downgrade prevention rules are a set of internal system rules.
When hardware changes occur, the new system adapts to the changes, but since the new motherboard does not support the old system, a specific time period is designated as a cutoff point. After upgrading, it is no longer possible to downgrade to a system released before this cutoff time.
The 7870 is different; it does not allow downgrades in any version, so you must include the lsec-downgrade file to perform a downgrade.
For the 8581 and 7862, as long as the hardware remains unchanged and no new hardware drivers have been added to the system, you can downgrade freely.
