TPMS – How to pair one new DUDU sensor with old receiver? Incorrect data shown

Hello DUDU team,

I have been using internal DUDU TPMS sensors for about 6 months without any issues.

About two months ago, during a tire change, one TPMS sensor was physically damaged.
I purchased a new set of DUDU TPMS sensors and installed only one new sensor to replace the broken one.

Important details:

3 sensors are old (from the previous set)

1 sensor is new (from the new set)

The TPMS receiver is still the old one

Problem

At the moment:

3 wheels show correct, live pressure values

The wheel with the new sensor shows the last stored value from the old sensor

That value does not update, even when driving

So the system looks like all 4 wheels are OK, but in reality one sensor is not communicating.

Questions

How can I pair or bind one new DUDU TPMS sensor to the old TPMS receiver, so that all 4 wheels work correctly again?

Is there a manual pairing / relearning / reset procedure for mixing old and new DUDU TPMS sensors?

Important feedback (very impractical behavior)

This behavior is extremely misleading and unsafe:

If a sensor is missing or not detected, the system should not display old memorized values

It would be much better if:

The wheel shows “no signal / error”

Or shows no value at all

Or at least displays a warning that the sensor is not detected

Right now, the user can easily think the sensor is working while it is actually offline.

👉 Please consider revising the TPMS logic in future firmware/software versions to handle missing sensors properly and avoid misleading data.

SDenKrUA After replacing the tire sensors, you need to access the TPMS application - Pair Sensors. External Sensors: Drive for several kilometers during pairing. Internal Sensors: Inflate/depress the tires during pairing.

For external sensors, you also need to confirm that the battery is installed correctly.

Unfortunately, in my case the pairing procedure does not work, even when following the recommended steps for internal sensors.

Here is exactly what I do (photos attached for reference):

I open DUDU TPMS II application
→ Photo 1: The problem is visible on the Front Left wheel (incorrect / frozen value).
I press Learn
→ Select Front Left wheel
→ Confirm “Tire Matching – YES”
(Photo 2 shows the confirmation screen).
During the whole procedure:
- The head unit stays ON
- The TPMS application remains open
- Ignition is ON
I exit the car and perform the relearning process for internal sensor:
- Deflate Front Left tire down to 0 bar
- Inflate the tire up to 2.3 bar
- Wait several minutes
Result:
- Nothing happens
- No new sensor ID is learned
- Pressure and temperature do not update
Additional step:
- I drive several kilometers after that
- The sensor still does not bind
- The wheel continues to show the old memorized value

Important notes:

I am using internal TPMS sensors only
I do not have external sensors
Only one sensor is new, all others and the receiver are from the previous set
The other 3 wheels work correctly

Question

Is it actually possible to pair one new internal DUDU TPMS sensor with an old receiver and old sensors?
Or does the system require all 4 sensors to be from the same set?
Is there any full TPMS reset / clear old IDs function that is required before relearning?

At the moment, the TPMS system keeps displaying the last stored value, which is misleading because the sensor is not communicating.

SDenKrUA Yes, they don't need to be from the same group.

Do not click "Yes". On the 120-second countdown screen, inflate and deflate the tires. If pairing is successful, the countdown window will disappear automatically.

You were absolutely right — not clicking “Yes” and starting the inflate/deflate process during the 120-second countdown solved the issue.

Now everything works correctly:

The new internal sensor is successfully paired
All 4 wheels show live pressure and temperature
The new sensor is properly connected to the DUDU TPMS system

Honestly, I would never have guessed that the correct procedure is not to press “Yes”, because this is quite unexpected from a user perspective.

Suggestion for improvement

It would be very helpful to add a short warning or hint directly on the button or dialog, for example:

Pairing (do NOT press – start deflating/inflating the tire)

This would prevent confusion and save a lot of time for other users.

Bought dudu internal sensors.
When rotating tires front to rear, is it possible change the location in the app?
And for winter tires planning to buy another set, can they be paired to the same usb unit? Or should I switch that too.
